Saw this post on Gizmodo about one kick-ass in-ear earphone JH Audio. Basically, its a
- Propriety precision balanced armatures
- Dual Low, Dual mid and Dual High range drivers
- Integrated 3-Way cross over
- Noise Isolation down to -26dB
- Frequency range between 10Hz to 20kHz
- Price tag of USD1,099

I’ve spent quite a bit earphone, even though I’m not a true blue audiophile but for some reasons, the sound of the music is important to me. When I listen to musics, the sound of treble has to be clear, so that I can hear the detail of cymbal or finger moving across the string while plucking the guitar. I have to be immersed in the depth of the bass as the percussion beats. I have to hear the clarity of the mid range.
Hence, I’ve bought not so cheap, a bit too expensive for most people but not expensive enough for audiophile freaks. For a while, I was eyeing for Shure but I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t cover below 20Hz nor beyond 20Khz. I don’t like the sound of it. Same goes to V-Moda. Then Apple came out with Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote. I bought one and I’m kinda stuck with it. The sound… it’s just right. The silicon ear tips can be easily dropped off. But I still fond of it. Dunno why. Oh… I forgot to mention, I listen my music through my iPhone. Maybe the remote thingy, played important role as well. Not mention built-in Mic.
Maybe, if JH Audio could integrate a remote and a mic, it will probably be enough reason for me to steal, rob, beg or earn enough money (USD1,099) to buy JH|13 PRO too.
Oh well…
